Korea & Southeast Asia Trade Marketplace

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum order quantity?+

It varies by product. Container-load quantities are typical, but scrap and smaller food orders can be discussed. Tell us the quantity you need and we’ll confirm right away.

How does payment work?+

Payment method (T/T, L/C, etc.) is fixed in the contract based on deal size and counterparty trust — we don’t lock in one method; it’s agreed together with volume and delivery terms.

How is scrap grade verified?+

Send the ISRI grade with photos and an assay certificate for a fast check. Without a clear grade we can’t give a firm quote, so we recommend inspection before contracting. Grade definitions are in the trade guide.

Why aren’t offer-board posts published immediately?+

Knowing your counterparty is half the job in trade. Every offer is reviewed before it goes live, and contact details are never shown — enquiries always go through us. This keeps spam and unverified posts off the board.

Can I use the price board as a contract price?+

No — it’s indicative only. The board shows daily exchange settlements, not a trading or settlement quote. Contract prices depend on volume, delivery terms and quality, so please request a firm quote.

How long until I get a reply?+

We reply after review, within the same business flow. Including the product, quantity and delivery terms up front speeds things up.

Do you support languages other than Korean and English?+

The site currently supports Korean and English. Support for Southeast Asian languages is under review — you’re welcome to write to us in English.

Do you trade outside Korea and Southeast Asia?+

Our primary markets are Korea and Southeast Asia, but we consider other regions depending on the product — reach out and we’ll check feasibility.
